DISCOUNTS FOR NEW HOST FAMILIES
Are you currently hosting an au pair on the Exchange Visitor Program from another agency? Try Au Pair in America to experience the difference! If you have never tried Au Pair in America, apply for free and receive up to $550 off your program fee.

Are you a parent serving in the U.S. Military? If so, you apply for free at Au Pair in America and benefit from a standing $500 program fee discount.
To qualify, one parent must show proof of actively serving in the military.
This discount can always be combined with a referral credit. It cannot be combined with other discounts/promotions.
Have you participated in another AIFS program? Maybe you were an au pair yourself at one time? AIFS, the parent organization for Au Pair in America offers a number of educational travel programs.
If you or a member of your immediate family participated in another AIFS program you are entitled to receive a 5% program fee discount with Au Pair in America.
If you are an Au Pair in America participant interested in another AIFS program you will receive a 5% special discount and any AIFS program you choose. Check us out at AIFS.com.
Discounts for Current Host Families
We appreciate our host families’ business and reward our families who repeat with us on an annual basis (with no more than a six month hiatus).
There is never an application fee and the $500 match processing fee is waived for all repeat families.
In addition, should you and your au pair choose to stay together for a second year, your program fee is substantially reduced.
At Au Pair in America, satisfied customers are always rewarded for referring another family — and we have the highest referral bonus in the industry! Simply tell your friends about our program and ask them to give your name as the referring family when they apply. Not only will you receive a $500 credit* on your next contract, but your friend will also receive a $500 program fee discount.**
*Savings will be issued to your next contract when the referred family welcomes an au pair to their home.

Welcome Back Your Former Au Pair
Save $350 off your program fee if one of your former au pairs returns to your family.
Or, receive a $350 thank you if you refer your former au pair who is accepted by Au Pair in America and placed with another family.

Return Au Pairs
Au Pair in America initiated a request to change government regulations that previously restricted au pairs to a one-time cultural exchange option under the J-visa regulations. In July 2008 a new rule went into effect (62.31 (p) Repeat Participation) opening opportunity for former au pairs who meet the following criteria to apply as a “Return” au pair. Criteria for returning au pair is based on successful completion of her initial program, including her education component; is able to demonstrate she resided outside the U.S. for at least 2 years following completion of her initial program; is between 18 and 26 years of age; and is able to meet the other regulatory requirements of her application.
