It has been my great pleasure to be a part of the Au Pair in America team since the first au pair arrived to the United States in 1986. I live near Boston, Massachusetts and served there as a community counselor for ten years. That was an amazing experience! Since 1991 I have been part of the Au Pair in America Orientation training team and I must say, this is a job that brings me great joy. Each time I greet a group of new au pairs I can feel the energy and the hopes that you bring with you. I know, too, that you come with many questions and a great desire for information, so that you can do your best job and have your best year. Orientation is a beginning. Webinars are a continuation of your training. I am delighted to expand that training and education process with you as you develop more specific questions. I look forward to speaking with you and to helping you enhance your experience.
It has been a wonderful opportunity to work for Au Pair in America since 1994 as a Community Counselor and since 1997 as an Orientation Trainer. Both jobs are fun and exciting. I am able to work with Au Pairs and Host Families to ensure they have a great year with the program. It has been a wonderful experience to get to meet so many Au Pairs from so many different countries and to learn from each other. The Webinars are an extension of this learning as we have designed them to bring Au Pairs additional information while living in the USA. I hope these webinars will help you and provide you knowledge to have your best year ever in America.
