NonInfant Qualified

Au Pair ID: M4520

Program: AuPair

Laura says: "When I was ~8 years old I began to play handball in our town's club...I have learned a lot about how to work and to associate with children. I have made experiences with stressful situations and learned to bear the responsibility for children of all ages...I really love dealing with children. I see the stay as an Au-Pair as a really good and unique opportunity to get to know and to learn something about an other culture in a foreign country with its language and people...I am friendly, very fond of children, responsible, reliable, adaptable and dedicated. I believe these abilities and experiences about dealing with children qualifies that I can spend a year as an Au-Pair in America and hopefully in your family."

We meet us once a week for 1,5 hours. We're playing games, doing different outdoor activities, singing or doing some creative things. In the summer holidays we go with 50 children to a 2-week summer camp. In the camp we are doing lot of sport activities, walking and playing games. I love the work with these children. I learned a lot about caring for children. We have a lot of fun every time we are together."

Meet Suelle from Brazil

Au Pair Available Now

20 years old

3,060 hours of child care experience

Infant Qualified

Au Pair ID: N2666

Program: AuPair

Suelle says: "I took care of children, Dieynison, 5 years old in 2011 and Sophia, 6 years old in 2012. Not to mention the care of my nephews and cousins. And after I learned about the Au Pair Program, I searched for new experiences with more children. This year, I was a helper at kindergarten... With the children at kindergarten, I put them to bed, give them their bottles, change diapers and give them showers. I also look after my baby nephew and I do the same as with the kids at kindergarten: I bath him, give him bottles, put him to bed, change diapers and spend time with him. With my older nephew, Luis Miguel, I play games that he likes, bath him, put him to bed, potty train him, and cook for him... In my free time, I normally read books, go to the gym and study anything that I have an interest in; I watch movies, series, I go to cinema with friends, I go out to restaurants, and cook."

Meet Mayan from Israel

21 years old

3,400 hours of child care experience

Infant Qualified

Au Pair ID: O3761

Program: AuPair

Mayan says: "My experience with kids starts at a young age. I've always loved to be around kids and taking care of them. I've been an aunt since I was 9 and I've always taken care of my nephews... Nowadays, I'm babysitting every day for 6 kids from 3 different families aged between 1.5 and 5 years old. One family is our neighbors - 2 kids (Daniel, 5 years old and Nicole, 1.5 years old). Every morning I go to wake them up and get them ready for school and take them there. The other family also has 2 kids - Eitan who is 4.5 years old and Ilan who is 3 years old now. I pick them up from kindergarten and bring them home. I usually put them to bed at night time and keep an eye on them when they're sleeping. And I also babysit Talia and Shani , 2 years and 6 month old sisters... My hobbies are mainly spending time at the beach, going out with my friends, dancing, running and swimming. I go running each evening on the beach...About 7 months ago, on March, I flew to Thailand for a month with a couple of my friends. It was the after-army-trip I always dream about."

Meet Eva from France

Au Pair Available Now

21 years old

580 hours of child care experience

NonInfant Qualified

Au Pair ID: N4307

Program: AuPair

Eva says: "I'm passionate about the arts. I passed a year at fashion school and I learned so many things; I want to continue my studies after my au pair year... Since January 2014 (until my departure) I have been taking care of children, I am a nanny. I take care of them after school until their parents come home after work, or all the day during the holidays (around 8am to 7pm). Through this job I think I have got a real taste of my future au pair life... The au pair year is the perfect experience for me because I love taking care of children, spending time with family and discovering new habits. For me, children are an ongoing joy; I like when they show you the world through their eyes, innocent and simple... Every child is different; I learned that through my childcare experience. I like thinking of new activities, how I get them to eat their vegetables, and fun ways to learn a lesson."

Neechia says: "My hobbies and interests include cooking, voluntary work, and reading, playing tennis, doing arts and crafts /DIY projects, photography and going to the gym....My love for voluntary work comes from the many years that I have helped my parents with various Round Table functions that raise funds and help for charity and I enjoy this because I really like helping people who can't do much for themselves due to the circumstances they are in. It is very heart-warming to see someone smile because you have made a difference in their lives."

Meet Cornelia from Sweden

Au Pair Available Now

20 years old

3,270 hours of child care experience

Infant Qualified

Au Pair ID: N2744

Program: AuPair

Cornelia says: "My biggest interest in life is music. I just love everything about it. Mostly singing but also playing the guitar and piano. Of course I enjoy listening to music just as much as practicing it. I did take piano lessons from when I was nine until I was twelve. But mostly what I know on both piano and guitar is self-taught... A few other things I like to do is being with friends, watching a good TV show, traveling etc. I have not done much traveling yet but I am fascinated with seeing new places... Earlier this year, I worked at a day care center. At this day care there were a total of 39 children and they were divided into two groups. One included children at the age of 1-3 and the other 3-6 year olds. I worked in both groups equally. When being with the younger children I did the obvious parts such as changing diapers, feeding them and making sure no one got hurt. But it was also still important to sit down with the kids and play with them, like building different railways and towers or painting with both hands and feet. I also noticed that they loved to pick a song themselves and sing it together."
