Viola says:" I think working or playing with a child is always a unique experience, because every child is a special individual and the time you spend with him or her is special...In my free time I enjoy doing different kinds of sport. I play volleyball and tennis, I also like skiing in the winter and swimming with my friends at the local lake in the summer. Besides sports, I also spend a lot of time playing music. I first started learning an instrument at the age of 4 and I'm now able to play the flute. As a flutist, I am a member of two orchestras. If I had to describe my character in a few words I would say I am aim-oriented, caring, authentic, cooperative, duteous and quickly interested and excited about unknown and different things."

Paulina says: "I have been taking care of Gabrysia. Gabrysia is 2 years old daughter of my friend Katarzyna. I spend with her 1-3 hours almost every day, since she was born. In a small village, everyone is a family to each other, so I treat Gabi as my little sister. I have a vast knowledge of education games which teach children how to be creative. Whenever I can I play with her a lot, I also teach her many different songs, we really have a lot of fun. I spent so much time with her that I love her a lot. As it is warm we spend a lot of time in a park or in the playground. We always cooked together, I make her pancakes with jam, dumplings with blueberries and cheese, potato pancakes, casseroles, noodles and dumplings. Thanks to her I have learned how to be patient and responsible. It made me realize that children need a lot of talking, explaining, reading and playing together, but at the same time it gives me an enormous pleasure to spend time with them, because they are true angels."

Previously, I worked at a youth centre where children came from different families and social conditions. They were between 8-12 years old. It was an incredibly fun job...Apart from my previous experience as a leader in the youth-centre and the gymnastics classes, I have also been babysitting a lot. I have cared for many different children in different families, but those who I have cared for most are the sisters Engla who is seven years old and Saga who is two years old. Joy says: "I would describe myself as caring, friendly, reliable, tolerant, helpful and honest...The reason why I want to go to America as an Au Pair is because I want to get to know the American lifestyle, the culture and of course I want to gather valuable memories...Of course also it would be great to improve my English skills and become more self-confident and open-minded by spending an exciting year abroad. The time I'm going to spend with the children and the experience of an eventful year with you and your kids will create memories, I will remember forever...It is so much fun to be together with kids. To play with them or to giggle....It's lovely to see how they discover the world."
