Furthermore, I was taught to take care of children at nursery where there were 15 kids from 3 months old to 3 years old. I was trained to make milk in different ages of kids, feed milk and food, bath and get dress. I taught them to learn everything around them. I was trained to handle many serious situations. This nursery always organized many activities for kids to participate. In last Christmas day, the nursery held the party, which had a gift exchange between children and teacher. I was the part of this spectacular party too. After that, there were a couple of kid's shows and had a feast. I had such a great time and was very happy. I love them and I believe that they love me too."

Tanja says: "I work as a leader and a member in a scout group. In this group the kids are between seven and nine. We teach the kids in different scouting skills and build different things for example a birdhouse or games. .. I did a language study travel to Great Britain and learned a lot about the language and culture...I like to work with kids, so I think Au Pair is the right thing for me. I spent a lot of time with children here in Germany, and we had a lot of fun together. The most interesting point in my times as a babysitter was, that I could see children growing up and learning more and more every day."

Anna says: "I also take an active part in our school first aid club and I gained experiences in a Sunday school...What I like most during my time with children is the moment when a very shy child comes to you for the first time because it starts to trust you...A very important part of my life is Japura, the horse I take care of about twice a week. Together, we explore the forest on horseback or we go for a walk...Another one of my hobbies is taking photos, I especially like to take pictures of landscapes and people... I think it's important to like what you do and I like to be with children and so it's the best way to mix these two factors together. The au pair program offers to get to know other attitudes in a family atmosphere, to leave your own familiar surroundings and after that see things differently."

Tereza says: "My experience with baby care is quite rich - I definitely can tell I have a good experience with them and I know how to entertain them or deal with them in general. In last year I took care of one small baby for six months. I did all the basic stuff: feeding, changing diapers, going out for walks, visiting playground, learning them to talk. It all made me ready to have my own baby in the future and I'm very glad about this. I also think that my potential experience in USA can prepare me to be good mother of my own kids one day. Beside that I took care of my sister since she was born of course and there's no need to say how I love her. Since 2007 I take care of my neighbor's daughter Ema. She is now 10 years old, she is only a year older than my sister. These two are friends. I like to take care of them. We go to the movies, to the zoo, we are often in nature. Ema often sleeps in our house during the weekends. Our typical day usually looks like this: when they woke up I prepare the breakfast for them, came up with the program and in the evening I bath them, read a fairy tale and get them to sleep. "
