African Ambassadors has been the sole representative for Au Pair in America in Southern Africa since 2009. Our Managing Director, Symmone Wilson, has represented the program for over 21 years having previously served as the Managing Director of AIFS in South Africa. During this period of time many thousands of young ladies have enjoyed the opportunity to au pair in the United States and been able to not only experience a different culture but to enrich their lives forever. Our most significant achievements have been winning both the IAPA 2019 Au Pair of the Year Award, the most prestigious award worldwide in our industry, and the 2019 Au Pair in America Au Pair of the Year Award. 

As African Ambassadors looks back over the past 12 years we can only say how blessed we are that we have made it possible for so many young ladies to achieve their dreams by experiencing the life-enriching reward of spending time as an au pair and sharing in the lives of their host families in the United States. Without this program, young ladies from Southern African would be poorer for not having participated on this cultural exchange program. We continue to pride ourselves in only recruiting the highest quality of applicants to ensure the success of the program.
