First Aid and CPR

Classes in First Aid and CPR are available all over the country in local hospitals and through the Red Cross, adult education centers and local YMCAs. Au pair in America will pay for the cost of a class providing you have at least three months left on your visa and you are taking one of several approved child care/child safety related classes, such as Infant/Child CPR or Community First Aid and Safety. Explore the classes in your area and check with your counselor and your host family before signing up. You must complete a Red Cross Scholarship form and send it to the Connecticut office of Au Pair in America along with an original receipt showing payment for the class. Au Pair in America will reimburse the cost of the class.
