Au Pair Accountability

Au pairs pay fees that vary by country and may include fees for the interview, placement, flight surcharge, upgrade insurance and visa processing.

Au pairs in the Au Pair and Extraordinaire programs are required to pay a program fee. The payment serves to demonstrate, in part, a commitment by the applicant to fulfill her year-long program agreement.

Upon successful completion of the first 12-month program, including participation in appropriate educational courses, a completion payment is returned. Payment terms vary for au pairs from some countries. The amount is forfeited if she does not complete her first full 12-month commitment.

EduCare companions pay a $750 fee. They do not receive a completion payment.
